We’re delighted to welcome Jagannathesvari as our guest on this week’s podcast.

A disciple of A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, she has been a part of the Hare Krishna movement for 50 years!

An author and enthusiast for promoting healthy relationships amongst devotees, Jagannathesvari is the founder of the global ‘Krishna Marriage’ initiative. Since its creation in 2008 the programme has ‘match-maked’ many devotees – and seen a number of happy couples tie the knot.

In this week’s episode, she shares her thoughts on modern-day ISKCON and her concerns about the organisation’s ‘mission drift’ from the essence of Srila Prabhupada’s teachings.

Jagannathesvari also talks openly about the current direction of Bhaktivedanta Manor and its lack of focus on reaching out to the Western public.

“Srila Prabhupada should always be in the centre,” said Jagannathesvari, “we should never lose focus on sharing his message with the western public.”
