The Davis Academy production of The Lion King, Jr. was a tremendous experience involving almost 200 Students (Mechina - eighth grade) on cast and crew, 23 alumni mentors (including several who spent their high school and college spring breaks working with us on the show), 1015 set/prop/costume pieces, and about 2400 in attendance for our 4 shows & 48 hours of whirlwind activity.

The Visual and Performing Arts Department at The Davis Academy is so thankful and grateful to be a part of a school that embraces the Arts equally in a child’s educational journey and an administration which supports and champions the Arts.
