This is our foundational model, designed to illustrate the core concept using simplified data for a one-year period. Once you grasp this model, you'll find it easier to follow our next iteration. Our next model will be built on the Power Platform to mimic real-world fund operations, similar to how fund accounting and reporting are integrated into ERP systems. We will expand our model to cover a 10-year period and utilize the following Power Platform tools:
Power Apps: As the user interface to input entries.
SharePoint or Dataverse: To store our entries.
Power Automate: To automate operations. For instance, you will have the option to automate booking or rolling forward entries if they meet specific criteria. These criteria will be defined by users within the workflows.
Power BI: To visualize our fund data and insights.
If you're unsure about what the Power Platform solution might look like, please refer to the task list automation tool I created. I will include a link in the description. This tool features a UI for inputting and managing tasks using Power Platform tools.
