Susanto Megaranto, lahir pada tahun 1987, adalah pemain catur Indonesia. Pada tahun 2004, beliau menjadi rakyat Indonesia termuda yang pernah layak mendapat gelaran Grandmaster, iaitu pada usia 17 tahun, mengalahkan rekod Utut Adianto selama 4 tahun. Beliau memenangi Kejohanan Catur Indonesia 4 kali berturut-turut dari tahun 2006 hingga 2010.

Wesley So adalah grandmaster catur Filipina-Amerika Syarikat. Dalam senarai rating FIDE pada Mac 2017, beliau berada di kedudukan No. 2 dunia dan mempunyai rating Elo 2822, menjadikannya pemain dengan rating kelima tertinggi dalam sejarah. Beliau menjadi pemain termuda yang melepasi rating Elo 2600 pada Oktober 2008, memecahkan rekod yang sebelumnya dipegang oleh Magnus Carlsen. Pada awal 2013, So melepasi 2700 dan pada Januari 2017 beliau menjadi pemain ke-11 dunia yang melepasi Elo 2800. Pada November 2019, Wesley So menjadi Juara Dunia Fischer Random rasmi yang pertama setelah mengalahkan Carlsen untuk memenangi Kejohanan Dunia FIDE Fischer Random.

Susanto Megaranto, born in year 1987, is an Indonesian chess player. In 2004, he became the youngest Indonesian ever to qualify for the title Grandmaster at 17, beating out Utut Adianto's record by four years. He won the Indonesian Chess Championship four times in a row from 2006 to 2010.

Wesley So is a Filipino-American chess grandmaster. On the March 2017 FIDE rating list, he was ranked No. 2 in the world and had an Elo rating of 2822, making him the fifth-highest rated player in history. So became the youngest player to pass a 2600 Elo rating in October 2008, breaking the record previously held by Magnus Carlsen. In early 2013, So passed 2700 and in January 2017 he became the 11th player to pass 2800 Elo. On November 2019, So became the first official Fischer Random World Champion after defeating Carlsen to win the FIDE World Fischer Random Chess Championship.
