Location & How to Reach: Reshikhola (alias RishiKhola) is situated in Kalimpong subdivision of Darjeeling district and close to Pedong town.

By Rail: The nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri railway station (NJP). It will take 4 hrs to reach Reshikhola by car from NJP.


By Air: : Nearest Airport is Bagdogra (IXB). By car, it will take 5hrs to reach Reshikhola from Bagdogra


By Road:: Reshikhola can be reached from Siliguri by various hired vehicles in roughly 4hours. Nearest town- Renock, 7 km from Reshi


Best Season to visit Rishikhola
October-April
Please avoid Rainy season because it becomes muddy and road conditions gets worst.Leeches are also found in monsoon.

AROUND RESHIKHOLA
Tourist can go for a day-trip to Aritar, Lampokhri lake and Pedong. Aritar: Aritar is an isolated place in East Sikkim is known for its
scenic beauty and nearby Lampokhri Lake. It is around 1 hr drive from Reshi Khola. Lampokhri Lake or Aritar lake: Lampokhri is one of the
oldest natural lakes in Sikkim, located at an altitude of 4600ft. Tourists can enjoy boating here. It is the highest lake in Sikkim with
a boating facility. It is also around 1 hr drive from Reshikhola. Pedong: Pedong one of the oldest towns in historic Silk Route located
at an altitude of 5000ft on the Kalimpong Algarah road. At Pedong you can explore Damsung fort, Pedong Monastery,
Tinchule viewpoint, Riksum view point, etc. Pedong is around 1-hour drive from Reshikhola and it is the nearest town from ReshiKhola
