We chat about his early days, getting arrested and spending a few nights in Jail at 17 and how that set him on a course that changed his life and probably music history as we know it. We talk about how he ended up in Woodstock in 1969, his days as a journalist, working in the chart departments, moving into Public Relations, becoming Led Zeppelin's first US PR person, becoming Vice President of Swan Song Records, his work with Stevie Nicks, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of Kiss, becoming President of Atlantic Records and of course one of the most famous bands he managed: Nirvana and his deep relationship with Kurt Cobain and the most recent book he wrote about him called ‘Serving the Servant’.
