AMT ERTL Ford 1966 Fairlane Reveal

This has been a very fun build. There isn’t a single problem that can’t be solved easily. The engine has some fantastic detailing, and the interior is top notch as well. The body mated to the chassis with no problems at all. The back wheels did need some drilling out and the axle needed shortened about a 16th of an inch. But other than that it all went together well.
I added spark plug wires, battery cables, heater hoses, fuel line, vacuum advance, brake line, throttle cable and return spring. The distributor is aftermarket (Thank You Again) but even the stock distributor wasn’t bad.
The front bumper about fell into place. There was no need to work anything to make it fit. It just did.
The tires had grooves in them to paint in either red or whitewalls, but if you wanted you could leave that out too and no one would notice.
This kit was well thought out and even though it’s from the 90s it’s still crisp and clean.
