In this video, I discuss many common concerns and how much those things increase or decrease your risk of getting colon cancer. Family history and/or a family history of colon polyps are usually the most common concerns people have. Here, I discuss which relatives you should be most concerned by and what steps you should take. Additionally, there has been much talk about hormone therapy and NSAIDs effecting your risk of colon cancer. I break down studies on these topics to help you understand their impact. Moreover, there are many lifestyle concerns, like smoking, obesity and drinking alcohol, that worry people. I talk about how each impacts your risk of getting colon cancer. Finally, lets discuss your diet and exercise and how it can decrease the risk of colon cancer.
