Ingredients

Young Jackfruit 1 kg
Lime Juice
Salt Powder
Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
Mustard Seeds 1 tbsp
Vinegar 3 tbsp
Black Pepper Powder 2 tbsp
Garlic and Ginger Paste
Green Chili
Red Onion

Pickled young jackfruit is a traditional South Asian condiment prepared by pickling young jackfruit in a spice and vinegar mixture. Young jackfruit is the unripe fruit of the jackfruit tree, with a firm texture and a mild, faintly sweet taste that lends itself well to pickling.

To begin making young jackfruit pickle, commence with fresh, unripe jackfruit cut into tiny pieces and cook on steam. Then, make a pickling solution by combining vinegar, salt, and a flavor blend of mustard seeds, and turmeric. You can also add chili peppers and red onion personalize the taste.

After you've made the pickling solution, bring it to a boil and then, add the steamed jackfruit to the pickling solution and set it aside to cool for several hours or overnight to enable the flavors to meld.

Young jackfruit pickle is a condiment that goes well with rice, curries, and other South Asian foods. It's also a great method to keep the flavor of fresh jackfruit so you can eat it all year.
