Versteckt zwischen Böumen_Palastruine Familie Reibnitz / Ruiny pałacu Reibnitzów

Описание к видео

This ruin is so embedded in nature that you can no longer see it from a distance of around 50 m. Only the tower tops partially protrude from the top of the trees. The end of this palace only came in the 1970s. At that time, the dilapidated roof collapsed because they have not had enough money.

Information about history:

This palace has had two floors and was commissioned in the Baroque style by Maximilian Leopold of the Reibnitz family, probably in the 1830s. In just a few years the palace had many owners.
First it came into the hands of Karl Friedrich from the Kottwitz family, then Gottlob from the Richthofen family, then Friedrich Wilhelm from the Kalckreuth family. You will find videos from me about the palaces of the Richthofen and Kalckreuth families.
The next owner, Count Neidhardt from the Gneisenau family, had the castle rebuilt in the classicist style. The palace was later rebuilt in the neo-Gothic style.

The palace was damaged in the First World War. It was poorly rebuilt and was still inhabited after the Second World War. The decline began in the 1970s when the roof, which had not been renovated, collapsed due to a lack of money.

The palace also included a 16-hectare park with streams, a pond and monumental trees. The tiny park that I passed through during my visit has become completely overgrown and there's actually nothing to see.
