Historian of Antiquity at the Department of Ancient History, Faculty of History, University of Warsaw. His research focuses on archaic Greek poetry, early Greek historiography, and archaic and classical Greek cultural history. His recent publications include The Rise of the Greek Aristocratic Banquet (OUP 2014) and Athenian Ostracism and its Original Purpose. A Prisoner’s Dilemma (OUP 2022). Bekker fellow (National Agency for Academic Exchange), Department of Classics, University of Cincinnati.
