How To Seal Marble Pavers

In this video, I walk you through the complete process of sealing Diana Royal leathered marble pavers to protect them from the elements and maintain their natural beauty. Whether you're working on a new installation or refreshing your existing pavers, this guide covers all the essentials for a successful sealing project.

Steps Covered:
Cleaning the Pavers: I started by cleaning the pavers using a 3% mix of sodium hypochlorite and water, then rinsed them with low pressure to avoid damage. This is an important step to ensure your pavers are clean and free of debris before sealing.

Preparation: After cleaning, it's crucial to let the pavers dry completely. Timing is key! You don’t want to seal the pavers when it's too hot outside, so aim to do this project in temperatures under 95 degrees.

Sealing: For this project, I used the Deco20 sealer, which is a clear waterproofing sealer that’s perfect for marble. I worked in sections, applying the sealer evenly, and used a microfiber dust mop to wipe off any excess.

Tools and Materials Used:
3% Sodium Hypochlorite Mix: For cleaning.
Low-Pressure Water Rinse: To prevent damage.
Deco20 Sealer: A clear, waterproofing sealer or another waterproofing sealer of your choice.
Microfiber Dust Mop: To apply the sealer and remove excess.
