In this video, we take a look at Hisuian Samurott's niche in the upcoming Regulation D format. The main thing here is that you have access to Ceaseless Edge, which is dark-type move that can set hazards for chip damage. It also gets the Sharpness ability now, so this move is also boosted along with Sacred Sword & Aqua Cutter. From here, you have options to run it bulky with an Assault Vest, or a more aggressive Life Orb set. Either way, both sets require speed control and in this video we went with a Tailwind Offense core since it's already a proven core. With Chien-Pao and Tornadus, Samurott can deal increased damage. Dragonite as well as Flutter Mane and Heatran are solid options against a lot of the meta at the moment too.
