✨ Krishna explains:
A Sthitaprajna gives up all selfish desires
Finds satisfaction within the self
Remains undisturbed in sorrow
Free from craving in happiness
Free from attachment, fear, and anger
🌙 Verse 58 gives a beautiful analogy:
Just like a tortoise withdraws its limbs into its shell, a wise person withdraws the senses from external objects.
🌙 Verse 59 adds an important insight:
Even if one restrains the senses outwardly, desires remain inside — but when one experiences the higher truth, those desires naturally fade away.
