Congratulations to the winner of Suvivor 48! Today i brouht backmy guests Josiah and Carsonto reflect on he season that was, create 1 last edgic chart, and look foward to the futures of Survivor. Stay tuned to find out the intricate findings from my edgic analysis of 48.

I am a semi-professional editor and storyteller and have used such skills for many projects over most of my life, including online survivor episodes. So I am attempting to utilize my knowledge of survivor editing to get into the minds of the official show editors and predict how the season will go.

The standard edgic ratings (that i did not come up with) have 3 parts: the type of edit, the tone, and the visibility.

There are 4 “types” of edit.
UTR stands for “Under the radar”, meaning we didn’t see much of them
MOR means “Middle of the Road”, they had content but nothing crazy
CP means “Complex Personality”, which means their character was very fleshed out
OTT means “Over the Top”, basically a caricature of themself

Then the 4th letter is the tone of the edit, N for negative, M for mixed (they had both negative and positive scenes), P for positive, or no letter for neutral/no tone (your typical, run of the mill edit)

The number is the visibility ranking, which is basically just how much they were shown in the episode on a scale from 1-5. 1 meaning they had nearly no dialogue, an 5 meaning they were shown to an unusually large degree.

Major characters of the season include Sai Hughley, Mary Zheng, Joe Hunter, Eva Erickson, Kamilla Karthigesu, Shauhin Davari, Kyle Fraser, David Kinne, Star Toomey, Mitch Guerra, Chrissy Sarnowsky, and Cedrek McFadden.
