Vladimír Valovič is a visual effects artist whose work has shaped some of Hollywood’s most iconic films. He collaborated with director Steven Spielberg on Lincoln and contributed to major productions including Gravity, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, Guardians of the Galaxy and Justice League. After working in Prague and London, he moved to Canada, where he continues to work at the forefront of cinematic illusion. Beyond Hollywood, Vladimír founded Compozitive VFX Academy, helping Slovak and Czech artists enter the global visual effects industry. At TEDxHumenné, he explores the hidden systems and invisible patterns that make digital worlds believable — and what they reveal about the structures shaping our own lives. His story is about stepping beyond comfort, mastering illusion, and returning home with perspective.
