Tropical plants & fruits in New York (June 2024)

I don’t have a lot of gardening space so I make use of EVERY inch that I can! Here’s an early June update from my “tropical” backyard here on Long Island, NY. I’m in a USDA zone 7bm and it's not quite summer yet so things will grow tremendously over the next few weeks.

This year I’ve extended the garden to include the driveway and part of my front lawn!
