Kris explains what each version of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) represents and why WCAG 2.1 AA is the most popular standard. However, in some circumstances, a case can be made for choosing WCAG 2.0 AA or WCAG 2.2 AA for your audit.

Clients usually have an idea of what their best version of WCAG is based on compliance, lawsuit risk, and/or procurement reasons. For clients trying to decide which WCAG version they should go with, Kris almost always recommends WCAG 2.1 AA, but it's worth talking through the different versions before making a decision.
