Our first day on Gili Trawangan | Gili T in 2023 | Lombok road trip day 3

After we drove 80km from Sembalun to Bangsal Harbour we bought a ticket for the fast boat to Gili Trawangan which cost 85,000 IDR / person / one way. There are a couple of options available when it comes to boats from Bangsal to the Gili Islands that all differ in pricing (Public boat, fast boat & speed boat - the latter being the most expensive). For the public boat & fast boats, these usually stop at Gili Air first, then Gili Meno & lastly Gili Trawangan.

Once we arrived & checked in at The Pearl of Trawangan we headed out for lunch at Kayu Cafe & then made our way to the beach for some snorkelling. We watched the sunset at 'sunset point Gili Trawangan' which is located on the southwest corner of the island. For Dinner we decided to go to the islands night market which has a great variety of seafood available.
