Part 2. Michael Peace helps with napping at the start of a ride & schooling on a training session.

Описание к видео Part 2. Michael Peace helps with napping at the start of a ride & schooling on a training session.

This horse is 9 years old and on his 4th home he had veterinary checks and kissing spine surgery with months of rehab but still had tension over mounting and napping leaving the yard.
After 8 months of rehabilitation from kissing spine surgery the vets have given him the all clear. After Michael Peace ‪@thinkequus‬ worked with the horse and owner the horse is now enjoying his hacking out and much happier. Getting going again after any surgery is not easy but getting fitter and moving in a more comfortable way seems to be working.
‘After a few weeks of my horse napping and me spending up to 15 minutes to get him to leave my yard I decided to seek Michael's help. His visit yesterday was fantastic. His insight into the horse's thinking and his understanding of how to address the napping issue, starting actually with a mounting issue was brilliant. No whips, spurs, flags etc needed! I ended up with my horse also wanting to go forward under saddle on the flat, which I struggled with all last year, using a few techniques that I was missing.
Day 1 today after Michael's visit and I had no issues mounting and then rode my forward going horse in the field - a delight! Thank you Michael!’
From the owner
Day 1 post Michael’s visit - 🤸🤸Rolo was perfect to mount...
I had 1 second of thinking of napping as I asked him to move off and then we walked in and out of yard and around yard. In the field he happily pinged round the field under saddle and only slightly tried his resistance once at the beginning in canter. Moved to other half of field over trotting poles, then returned to big half again and whizzed around field. A delight to ride. Thank you to Michael …. a transformation, but I won’t be complacent and will keep on top of him. Best wishes P.
