Freyr Trellis Install

I needed more growing space for tomatoes this year, especially since my raised beds are not getting enough sun. I am trying out the Freyr Trellis which allows me to add a grow bag growing space and provide support to trellis my tomatoes anywhere I can pound the anchors into the ground.

The trellis was easy to put together, even with dogs and husband distracting me. The hardest part was working with a yard that is not level. You can put the anchors in at different depths to help create a level trellis in an area that is not level ground.

You can also put the trellis in an existing raised bed, and can tailor the height and length to your growing space.

Pro tip: Add some dish soap to the top bar when you place it in the clamps to avoid scratching the material.

I have added hemp twine and compostable tomato clips to the grow bags for the tomatoes to trellis up.
