The case of an IEC official who has been charged with the contravention of the electoral act is expected to resume in the Pietermaritzberg Magistrates Court on Thursday. Musawenkosi Mnikathi was an area manager in uMsunduzi during the May 29th general elections. He is accused of moving voting materials without a police escort. The case was opened by the MK Party. Meanwhile, MK party members who protested outside court, handed over a memorandum of their grievances to court officials.
