SCAMMED by CEX

Hi all.

I normally try and spread giggles with my channel but sadly, something has come up.

Now, I'm just a small fry and hold no weight at all but if even 1 person sees this then I'll have done the right thing.

‪@CeX‬ have grown exponentially over the last decade or so and have become the leading outfit for retro gaming and physical media. Sadly though, that has now resulted in a monopoly and when that happens, so does a drastic dip in quality.

I've watched channels that I fanboy over like ‪@TVMReviews‬ and ‪@RetroGhetto‬ have a few swipes at them (especially Retro Ghetto's CEX lottery) but I've noticed more and more people that I follow on here starting to post videos where they've finished been ripped off.

I've got a couple of videos to edit and upload and one was ro show that CEX isn't as bad as people make out...

...only halfway through the video, I started to get scratched discs and a few other issues.

Ah well! It's only a one off, yeah? I'll just order some more games and make a positive video before releasing this slightly dodgy one...

...only the next batch were even worse and to pour salt on that wound, CEX didn't care.

Well, I know losing my custom means nothing to them but hopefully, it will showcase the pitfalls of buying discs you can't physically check to a few people that are interested.
