A Tinge of Re-Volt

Welcome to RVGL, a fan-made restoration of an obscure racing game known as "Re-Volt". It's a fun little Mario Kart style game where you race RC cars, that draws comparisons to the likes of Micro Machines and/or Choro Q.

Although the game's publisher, Acclaim Entertainment, has long since gone defunct, fans of the game have kept it alive and going with a strong modding community that continues to make content for the game to this day.

This video showcases the Championship mode, which is your typical "place first overall to win" fare, as with most racing games. You get points at the end of the race based on how well you did in said race, and if you finish the championship with the most points overall, you'll win the trophy.

Other exciting game modes include a time trial mode, a practice mode that lets you learn the ins and outs of a particular race track, a battle mode similar to Mario Kart's, a "Stunt Arena" gamemode where you try to collect as many stars as possible, and even a hidden gamemode that works the same as Single Race, but with a unique gimmick.
