The 7ft Sooks are an Australian band from Peregian Beach that plays Surf/Punk/Country/Metal/Leather music, described as a blend of loud guitars, drums, and bass with influences from bands like The Hard-Ons, Cosmic Psychos, and Amyl and the Sniffers. Known for their "less is more" musical philosophy and songs about various subjects, including sharks and everyday experiences, they have recently released music and are active in the South-East Queensland music scene
