*Title:* Enter the Backrooms of Hell

*Synopsis:*
Agent ID "M03475897" receives an urgent call from the SCP Foundation to investigate a series of mysterious disappearances in Nice, France. The missing individuals were last seen entering a hotel located at 476 Promenade des Anglais. The agent must go to the site to begin the investigation and uncover the truth behind these disappearances.

*Story Beginning:*

*Chapter 1: The Call*

*Opening Scene:* Agent "M03475897" receives an encrypted call from the SCP Foundation. The voice on the other end is serious and urgent, informing the agent about the disappearances and the importance of the investigation.
*Preparation:* The agent gathers equipment, including weapons, investigation tools, and Foundation documents.

*Chapter 2: Arrival in Nice*

*Journey:* The agent takes a flight to Nice and arrives at the airport. A Foundation car is waiting to take the agent directly to the hotel.
*First Impressions:* Upon arriving at the hotel, the agent notices a strange and unsettling atmosphere. The hotel seems deserted, but there are signs of recent activity.

*Chapter 3: The Investigation Begins*

*Initial Exploration:* The agent begins exploring the hotel, discovering clues and documents left by the missing individuals. Audio recordings and written notes reveal troubling details about the events that took place.
*First Contacts:* The agent encounters anomalous phenomena and SCP entities that seem to be guarding the hotel. The agent must use skills and equipment to survive and advance.

*Chapter 4: The Backrooms*

*Discovery:* While exploring deeper, the agent discovers a hidden door leading to a series of "backrooms" – interdimensional spaces filled with dangers and mysteries.
*Survival:* In the backrooms, the agent must face even more terrifying creatures and phenomena. The agent must solve puzzles and avoid traps to progress.

*Rendering Engine:* Eevee Next
*Rendering Technique:* Screen Path Tracing

In this project, I implemented several interesting techniques to change shaders on targeted slots on the fly. Based on the SCP theme and with a tribute to the game F.E.A.R, I started this project three days ago using the Blender Kit. Thanks to the Blender community, I easily created a level design with high-quality assets to showcase the full potential of this game engine.

I set up a series of events as well as a small narrative introduction to immerse the player in the game's universe. The images were generated using artificial intelligence, which explains the few inconsistencies in the newspaper articles.

At this stage of development, this is a game prototype and not a final version.
