Описание к видео EASY LIGHTHOUSE WATERCOLOUR TUTORIAL - using urban sketching techniques and loose and fun colours

Thanks for tuning in to watch my urban sketching, ink and watercolour tutorial! Don't forget to check out my channel where I have hundreds of different urban sketch tutorials, as well as other watercolour and ink sketching guides for everyone from beginners to more advanced!

If you'd like to support my channel you can buy me a 'Coffee' on KoFi - ko-fi.com/tobyurbansketch
When I reach my goal I'll upgrade my sketching tutorials with a new camera and use my old camera to give an extra view point in my videos! Perhaps my face, perhaps my watercolour palette, or some close ups of my process!

In this watercolour art demo/tutorial I'll show you in real time how I create a loose and expressive sketch of this light house from a reference photo.

Watercolours can be intimidating, but they can also be fun and exciting.

Using simple line work we can quickly capture the essence of the scene, focussing on keeping things loose, simple and joined up. Before adding in loose and watery colours, moving the pigments on the page and mixing both in a palette and on the page. Splashes, splatters and highlights are added at the end after the page has all dried and voila - a fun piece of art is completed!

Equipment used:
Moleskin A5 watercolour sketchbook
0.1mm Derwent Fine Liner
Pentel 0.1mm white gel pen
Waterbrush by Caren D'ache
Watercolours: Hansa yellow med, cobalt blue, pthalo blue, viridian, burnt sienna, scarlet lake

The light house in question is 'Pigeon Point Lighthouse'.
