This is a review of For the King in the 6 point 6 minute review. This is an "Update" review. The game has been out on PC for over a year and on consoles for the past couple of months. Enjoyment of the game boils down to whether you like the core RPG genre of the game mixed with other elements. The idea behind mixing rogue lite elements with D&D chance events in an RPG turn based format works very well and there is plenty of content whether you purchase or play on xbox game pass. Main negative is the difficulty of playing with random people online since games drop when anybody quits. The only other negative that is a small gripe is the interface when exchanging money or equipment with other players that is a bit cumbersome on controller though fine on PC players. Other than that I hear some complaints about the graphics, but this allows all the customization, aesthetic changes with your character, and the cool somewhat hilarious at times rag doll physics. You don't really notice it not having AAA graphics because of these aspects.
