Let's break down one of the most fundamental cane skills: Two-Point Touch.

HOW TO USE TWO-POINT TOUCH:
1. Tap the cane on the ground about shoulder-width distance.
2. The cane will tap the right side as the left foot is forward and vice versa.

WHAT CANE TO USE FOR THIS SKILL:
Two point touch is typically used with NFB canes. It is white cane distributed by the National Federation of the Blind (NFB) through its free cane program to assist people who are blind or visually impaired in navigating their environment. It has a metal tip, is made of fiberglass, and it's great for tactile information and maintaining control during travel. It's often used for learners who are fast walkers!
