Seth was the third son of Adam and Eve, born after Abel was killed by Cain (Genesis 4:25).

2. How the Devil Tried to Corrupt His Line

Even though Satan didn’t directly deceive Seth himself, he later deceived Seth’s descendants.

Seth’s children lived on a holy mountain, close to God.

Cain’s descendants lived in the valley below, corrupted and violent.

The devil sent temptations to draw Seth’s people down from the mountain — through the beauty, music, and pleasures of Cain’s descendants.

When the “sons of God” (Seth’s descendants) began to marry the “daughters of men” (Cain’s line), corruption spread — and this union produced the Nephilim (giants).

This growing evil led to God’s decision to flood the world during Noah’s time.

3. The Spiritual Lesson

The story symbolizes how the devil doesn’t always attack directly — sometimes he deceives through worldly attraction, pride, or compromise. Seth’s faith was strong, but his descendants gradually fell for what seemed desirable — and that’s how Satan succeeded.
