Jim Bell has worked in education for PYLUSD for 38 years, 16 of which were in administrative positions.

He is the INCREDIBLE architect of the HIGHLY REGARDED International Baccalaureate program at Valencia High School, which became the TOP IB Program in OC, and the Val Tech Program, which is one of the TOP tech programs in OC.

He helped grow Valencia High School by about 1000 students from 1800-1900 students to 2850, which is when it maxed out.

During his tenure, Valencia High School went from administering 350 AP exams with a pass rate of about 73-75%, to administering 2000 AP and IB exams with a pass rate of slightly over 90% upon his retirement.
