- There are 2 ways to unlock King Daphnes: Either complete this scenario or finish the 3rd Wind Waker level in Legend Mode.

If you're following the element recommendation for this mission, Tetra is a good choice along with King Daphnes himself if you've unlocked him through Legend Mode already. If you don't care and just want to complete the mission, Young Link is at the top of the list because of how powerful (and broken) he is in Focus Spirit mode. Defeat Toon Link to get a bunch of enemies to appear; defeat enough Lizalfos to make Helmaroc King appear; defeat him to get even more enemies to show up. A little later forces with Big Blins will appear. Not much to say about this one in terms of strategies, just go to town on them and stick to Focus Spirit mode as much as possible to speed up the KO potential.
