In this video, I’ll guide you through how to create a New Cash Sales transaction in SQL Accounting Software.
Cash Sales are commonly used for walk-in customers who make immediate payment (cash or bank transfer) at the point of sale, without creating a debtor balance. 🧾💵

🧾 Steps to Create a New Cash Sales Transaction:

1️⃣ Go to the Sales Module → select Cash Sales
📌 Cash Sales are typically used for walk-in customers who pay immediately for goods or services.

2️⃣ Click New on the right-hand side to create a new Cash Sales document.

3️⃣ Select the Customer Code
➡️ Normally, you can choose a default customer such as Cash Sales / Walk-in Customer.

4️⃣ Under the document details, select the Item Code that was sold to the customer
📌 Key in the quantity, unit price, and confirm the total amount.

5️⃣ Once all details are correct, click Save.

6️⃣ After saving, a Payment Method selection window will appear:

If the customer pays cash, select Cash in Hand
➡️ The system will post the transaction into the Cash in Hand account

If the customer pays via bank transfer, select the relevant Bank Account instead

📌 In this example, Cash in Hand is selected.

7️⃣ Click OK to confirm the payment method
➡️ The system will automatically record the full amount as paid, and post it to the Customer Payment side.
