DCS Black Shark Ka-50 - Unguided Bombs

In this tutorial I demonstrate how the targeting systems can be used as a bomb-sight assisting you in the release of unguided weapons.

Lock up the target and create a data-link target by first pressing the key that corresponds to the target type followed by the send to target key.

Reset the targeting system and select the data-link target followed by the ingress to target key, this will steer the aircraft towards the target.

Select the weapon station carrying the unguided weapon you wish to release and set the ballistic settings dial to the correct preset.

Switch the targeting system over from Auto-Tracking to Gun-sight. This will setup the Shkval to function as a bombsight displaying the point of impact on both the TV display as well as the ABRIS while in NAV master mode.

Selecting the Heading/range to target point key will display an indication of heading and range to target while in the Ingress mode.

Hold the weapons release while the target comes into frame for weapons release.
