One of my favorite moments in real estate—being featured on If You Lived
Here, the beloved WETA series broadcast nationally on PBS. This episode was filmed with Christine Louise and John Begney as we explored what it’s truly like to live in one of Washington, D.C.’s most vibrant and walkable neighborhoods: Logan Circle.
This featured home is a luxury boutique condominium located right on 14th Street—arguably one of the most dynamic corridors in the city. Step outside and you’re directly across from The Diplomat, on the same block as Barcelona Wine Bar, and moments from neighborhood favorites like Cork Wine Bar, Cork D.C., Le Diplomate, Pearl Dive Oyster Palace, ChurchKey, Compass Coffee, Salt & Sundry, West Elm, and so many of the restaurants, cafés, and shops that make 14th Street iconic.
What makes this building especially special is its true boutique feel—only 28 residences in total. This particular home is a top-level corner unit with two private balconies, offering exceptional light, air, and views. It’s a two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath residence, and the best word to describe it is chic. Thoughtfully updated, stylish, and effortlessly modern.
Since the episode was filmed, the home has been elevated even further—with a newly reimagined kitchen and renovated bathrooms—but what has always defined this space is the light and the views. Large windows frame sightlines over the historic Barrett School, a beautiful schoolhouse with timeless architecture, and a striking church across the way, admired for its sculptural shapes, stonework, and architectural presence that feels both grounding and inspiring.
During filming, Christine Louise and John Begney were asked to guess the value of the home. They both came in under $1 million, with the highest estimate at $960,000—but today, the true market value of a residence like this is closer to $1.2 million, a testament to Logan Circle’s enduring appeal, limited inventory, and the premium placed on boutique penthouse living in Washington, D.C.
The building also offers garage parking, a common rooftop terrace, and a party room, but make no mistake—this home is all about location, lifestyle, and light. Walkable to everything. Centered in the city. Elevated living with modern flair.
Being part of If You Lived Here was genuinely meaningful. Sharing this home—and this neighborhood—with Christine Louise and John Begney was a reminder of why people fall in love with D.C. in the first place: history, architecture, culture, and an unbeatable sense of place.
If you’re thinking about moving to Washington, D.C., exploring Logan Circle, or dreaming about luxury penthouse condo living in the heart of it all, you’re in the right place. Daryl Judy has be named one of the best real estate agents in Logan Circle having sold more homes in the ne
