Kerala has done it again. The state that became India’s first fully literate state in 1991 is now the country’s first fully digitally literate state.

On August 21, the state announced the successful completion of the first phase of the Digi Keralam project, which worked at the local level to teach digital skills and bridge the digital divide.

Today, people of all ages, from seniors to homemakers, are confidently using smartphones, social media, and online government services.
