In this video, Dylan from Alarm Grid shows you how to enable manually triggered warning sounds, which are used with Alarm.com video. When a camera notifies you that it detects movement in a protected area, you then have the option to trigger a warning sound to be emitted by that camera. Only certain cameras support this feature. Usually, the same cameras that support 2-way audio.

The FAQ linked at the bottom of this description has the full list of compatible cameras and their firmware version requirements. Your alarm dealer will also need to have enabled "Non-Doorbell Audio" for your account. If this has not been done, you won't see the options outlined in this video. So, if your screen looks different from what is shown here, be sure you're working with a compatible camera, then contact your alarm dealer for assistance.

In the video, Dylan outlines how to enable this feature via both the Alarm.com customer website and the app. The app is available for a free download from both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Dylan also provides a helpful demonstration of how to activate the warning sound through both the website and the app.
