Araneus quadratus Four-spotted orbweaver female spider. Web is made between two blades of grass. As I lean forward and disturb the web, the spider quickly heads for the grass then decides to return to the centre of the web. It's not as tidy as the webs I see made by the Araneus diadematus, Garden orbweaver spiders.
The 4-spot spider is common but it is the first I have ever seen and managed to video.
