RESIDENT ALIEN | Murder Mystery & More

Resident Alien tells the tale of Harry Vanderspiegle a shipwrecked alien who loves murder mysteries trying to live among us on Earth. This comic series released by Dark Horse manages to subvert many of the tropes you may expect thanks to a deliberate attempt by the series creator Peter Hogan. Now the series has a SYFY adaptation starring Alan Tudyk but man do not know it has a rich long comic history spanning a decade.
