Day 2. This was the Cunard holiday cruise that we looked forward to. It turned out to be an exciting event. There were ample opportunites for ballroom dancing. We liked the Queens Room Musicians - vocalists Corbin Elliott and Michelle Heslop, and the Watson Duo - Thomas and Zoe Watson. They regularly played for the ballroom dancing in the Queens Room. We were thrilled by the rare opportunity of a full Tea Dance session by the Royal Court Theatre Orchestra. The Changez Band was back second time for us, we liked them. The O-Town Motown quartet on the last evening was engaging.
There were over 200 couples wanting to dance but the dance floor was packed during the prime time ballroom dance sessions. One could hardly breathe. These dancers had different skill levels. So often one had to navigate traffic jams near the floor entrance. However, the 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM sessions often had live bands yet provided freedom to dance with only about 8 couples on the floor. That opportunity was because the two or three large organized dance groups (over 70 people each) were still enjoying their dinner. These situations will be evident as the videos come out.
