Train Cab Ride NL / Uitgeest - Amsterdam - Gouda - Rotterdam / SLT Sprinter / Nov 2019

It's Friday peeps! Time for a new cab ride! Many of my followers were asking for a nice ride on a sprinter for a change. The reason I don't have many of them on my channel is because most of the time there's not time to setup the camera on time. Safety and schedules of the train of course have the highest priority.

But here's a nice one for you guys. The sprinter service (express service) from Uitgeest via Amsterdam, Breukelen and Gouda to Rotterdam. This train will make stops on all stations in between. Besides Gouda (from our cheese) a famous stop on this route is Zaandijk Zaanse Schans. Here tourists travel to by train to visit the famous windmills in The Netherlands.

As you can see we'll start our journey just in time at Uitgeest. On our way to Amsterdam some of the stops are done out of the 30 second target and if that is the case that has been mentioned in the video. When that happens it's just a matter of getting at the maximum speed ASAP and keep the train on that speed as long as possible. At max to the point where we need to slow down for the next stop of course. We don't wanna skip stations when we're driving this train service.

Between Uitgeest and Zaandam we have four sprinters each hour in each direction. Between those train we have 4 IC's an hour in each direction. Between Zaandam and Breukelen an extra IC in each direction joins the club. And from Amsterdam we have some international IC's and freight trains as well.

Counting all the train together we have 4 sprinters, 6 IC's, 1 IC international and max two freight train per hour in each direction between Amsterdam and Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena running over only two tracks (one back and forth). This gives passengers every 10 minutes a intercity connection between Amsterdam and Eindhoven.
