In this tutorial, we will show you how to share a VPN connection from your computer and create a private and secure internet connection for your TV or other devices. If you don't have a router that supports VPN or if you want to connect devices that don't have a built-in VPN option, this method is perfect for you.

To start, you need to have a VPN installed and connected on your computer. If you're not sure how to do that, check out our video on how to install a VPN on your computer in the description below.

For this tutorial, we will be using ExpressVPN.

Once you have your VPN set up, the first step is to open "Network and Internet Settings" on your computer and click on "Mobile Hotspot." After setting a name and password for your VPN hotspot, we will move to the next step.

Next, we will find the mobile hotspot adapter that we just created, which should say Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct virtual adapter, and our ExpressVPN adapter, which should say "ExpressVPN TAP Adapter." After setting up sharing settings, we will connect to the VPN via the ExpressVPN app and change the protocol to OpenVPN UDP.

Finally, we tested the VPN hotspot with a second computer to confirm that it works. And that's it! Now, you can connect your TV or other devices to the newly created hotspot and enjoy a private and secure internet connection.
