Today's What You Need Wednesday is more or less like part 2 of the last one, in that it relates to Bruce Oatway -- however, in no way can this really relate to anything... this is from beyond...

We can try and preface Christa Oatway as the freewheelin', freeway rockin' female companion of her Zuma Rocker hubbie, but she's just so much more than that. Embracing the user-generated content mode of point, shoot, and upload, Christa has found ways to portray herself in many different lights, while usually in her Malibu environment. Through renditions of classic rock mega-hits like "Stairway To Heaven" and "Dream On" she reveals herself as a mouthpiece of the rock gods, and in her video for original composition "Wild Ride", she becomes the interpreter of this sacred culture.

Indeed, "Wild Ride" basically turns the "freeway" that has come to embody freedom, passage, and desire within the rock canon into a mantra, as she repeats it many, many times in this tune. Watch the video below, with additional YouTube treats as well.
