Garry Fabian Miller, The Light Gatherers: Beyond the Middle Place

Описание к видео Garry Fabian Miller, The Light Gatherers: Beyond the Middle Place

The fourth lecture in Garry Fabian Miller's: The Light Gatherers

About this lecture

The sun is in the West, the horizon is waiting its arrival. This is the moment when I feel most alive – eyes widest open. We can start a fresh tomorrow; we can try again to become a vessel of radiance. The last daylight has fallen, passed through my eyes, cast its shadows on my brain. I have soaked up every last drop. This last look is the most important as the sun falls. I carry it into the darkness. It holds me safe. In the morning, I release its light back into the world, like a Darkroom exposure.

The film shown at the end of the lecture – Last Evenings – is accompanied by “Music by Oliver Coates” (this soundtrack is not available for online use).
