Robotic Bottle Unscrambler

Synapse has designed and built Unscrambling line for unique shaped non-symmetrical bottles that cannot be oriented through conventional unscramblers.
The system comprises of a hopper and elevator conveyor followed by an oscillating linearizer unit. A 5MP vision system identifies the orientation of the bottles and provides the bottle co-ordinates to 3 ABB flexpicker robots.The robots pick and place the bottles to pucks which move through a timing screw.
The system can handle several colours and 5 sizes of bottles. Changeover is mostly automatic with minor mechanical changes.
