This one's sort of hard to explain, but those who are part of the roleplay will understand. Luff chu Muse.

As Lucifer, the son of St. John Allerdyce and Wanda Maximoff, grows older he begins to look into his mothers past. From there he decides to take revenge into his own hands, he learns that his grandfather locked his mother away in an asylum (so the line is actually 'you'll always know that my father's a thief') and that his Uncle, Pietro (among other things) came together with Psylocke years before to hurt his family, and was then willingly possessed by a demon god to keep himself alive when the plan for revenge didn't work.

Wanda doesn't want a life bent on revenge for her son, but the more Lucifer learns the more he delves into dark magic and the more it corrupts him. He begins to think he was born to seek out her revenge for her, even though his sister, Alice, insists he's wrong.

In a similar way Lucifer becomes the host for the devil himself to seek revenge on his grandfather and uncle, however the devil begins to take over Lucifer's mind and soul bit by bit which causes him to see dark spirits, and become a demon himself.
