About Us:

The purpose of this student group is to promote the advancement of transportation and traffic engineering by fostering the close association of students with the transportation and traffic engineering profession and ITE; to acquaint students with topics of interest in transportation and traffic engineering through the medium of competent speakers and of Chapter-sponsored trips; to foster the development of professional spirit; to help students improve their communication and networking skills; to facilitate the exploration of state-of-the-art software and programs; to promote common interests among students and to encourage the enhancement and optimization of facilities for transportation and traffic engineering study.

If you are a York University student who is interested in the transportation industry, we encourage you to consider joining our ITE Student Chapter. The club is open for all students, both undergraduate and graduate, in all disciplines (not just engineering).

Students must be ITE members in order to join the York University ITE Student Chapter. Student's first year of ITE membership is free. (Note: Since January 1, 2019, undergraduate student members can continue to join for free while graduate students will pay $30 per year.)
