Join our Discord Server:   / discord   In this video, I made a sound bar which kind of represents how loud our sound is based on it's loudness threshold, starting from 0 to 1. You can check it out working live on your devices on the given github links.
One thing that I forgot to mention in the video is that, browsers only let users record sound if it is an https domain or else, this would not work. One more thing, you need to keep in mind is that the browser is also going to ask for permission to record voice and in case your user denies it, he/she would not be asked again unless the user changes it manually in their browser settings. When you open my web demo of this project, you'll be asked to let your microphone record audio, only then, depending upon the choice you would make, this project would work.
