Not only are police exposed to constant trauma and critical life events throughout their career, they are also not routinely trained in how to look after their mental health and how to build up resilience.

The stigma within the macho culture of policing discourages officers to come forward and admit they are struggling.

Ginny McKenna, an ex-cop with over 20 years on the frontline, found she had no support, no--one to talk to, and when she was off sick with anxiety and depression, her colleagues would not even get in touch with her.

She now provides the help that she would have needed herself back then, when she was suicidal.

Ginny provides stress coaching for police, and equips them with the tools to get back in control, snap out of the constant fight-or-flight state, and gives them their power back to think and respond to situations clearly, with a focused mind.
