臺東工藝文創品牌驚艷泰國曼谷國際工藝創新展Taitung Essence, the cultural and creative brands shines at IICF, Thailand

臺東文創品牌再訪泰國曼谷，臺東縣政府帶領5家特色文創工坊在曼谷「2018泰國國際工藝創新展（International Innovative Craft Fair, IICF）」於2018年3月29日至4月1日之曼谷國際貿易展覽中心(BITEC)「Taitung Essence」形象展館，展露來自臺灣東海岸文化生活與傳統技藝的創新面貌。

臺東維護傳統工藝精神與泰國延續無價手藝相契，臺東縣政府為促進地方文創產業國際能見度，積極參與和辦理國際工藝、設計、藝術參展與人才交流計畫，今年再度領軍5家文創品牌、工藝團隊參與曼谷工藝盛會，包含皮揚工坊(皮革工藝) 、米麻岸工作室(檳榔鞘技藝) 、法拉撒工坊（TT style生活創作實驗平臺）之石頭彩繪、鳳凰木種子刻畫、陳葳工作室(原住民服飾)、獨樹依織工作室(樹皮布創作)共同展出，自然、傳統人文融入當代生活的物品，是臺東縣文創的獨特魅力。

「泰國國際工藝創新展（IICF）」是由 SACICT(泰國國際藝術及工藝中心)所舉辦藝術與工藝創新商品展，今年主題「Craft Bangkok 2018」，旨在工藝創作中技術與社會的連結性，以創造、創新使工藝在各領域、各面向的連結，扶植傳統工廠，讓傳統工藝無價手藝得以延續，而臺東縣政府自106年積極參與東南亞設計盛會—曼谷國際禮品家飾展(BIG+BIH)與辦理國際文化工藝、設計交流計畫，媒合在地藝師國際駐點創作、展演，讓臺東創作人才走向國際與世界交流，並透過國際展會上的交流、展演，讓臺東文創在各國插旗，打造國際通路，並為臺灣原創拓展新機。

Cultural and creative brands of Taitung revisits Bangkok, Thailand. Five featured cultural and creative brands, led by the Taitung County Government, will join the International Innovative Craft Fair at Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre from March 29th to April 1st, 2018. The “Taitung Essence” showcases the innovative face of Taiwan’s cultural lifestyle and traditional craftsmanship from the east coast.

The spirit of Taitung people preserving their traditional art craft matches the idea of the Thais preserving their invaluable handicraft. To promote the publicity of local creative industry internationally, the Taitung County Government has been actively holding talent exchange programs and exhibitions on art crafts, design and arts. This year, five creative brands will attend the festival of crafts in Bangkok. They are: Piyang Craft(leather goods), Mima'an studio(betel nut tree leaf), painted stones from Varasa (TT style life creative experiment platform), carving of the delonix regia seed, Chen Wei Craft(indigenous cloth) and Unique tapa(bark cloth). Modern living goods from nature with a touch of traditional style made the cultural and creative industry from Taitung unique.


The International Innovative Craft Fair (IICF) is an exhibition of innovative art and craft organized by SACICT (The Support Arts and Crafts International Centre of Thailand). The theme this year "Craft Bangkok 2018" aims to link technique to the society in craftsmanship. By linking the craftsmanship in various fields and aspects with creativity and innovation and helping traditional factories, the invaluable traditional craftsmanship can be continued. Since 2017, the Taitung County government has been actively participated in the important design event in Southeast Asia, Bangkok International Gift Fair and Bangkok International Houseware Fair (BIG+BIH) and put effort in exchange programs of international cultural craftsmanship and design. We have sent local artists abroad for onsite art creation and exhibition, in order to let the talents from Taitung to communicate with the world. With these exchange program and exhibitions opportunities, the cultural and creative goods from Taitung can be seen everywhere and bring more chances to original design from Taiwan.
